What Are the Laws for a 21 Years Old Male and a 16 Year Old Girl

My question involves criminal law for the state of: FLORIDA


- Now I have a friend that is 21 years old , and dating a girl that is 16 years old. They were dating when he was 20 and she was 15 , but now their both 21 and 16 as of like november 2012.

- In florida what are the laws for them two to date or even have sex ? Can there be any issues or what so ever between them when it comes to state laws ?

If you are looking for someone here to give you...I'm sorry, I mean your friend...permission to have sex with a child, you are very much in the wrong place.

The law is real simple:

If the 21 year old has sex with the minor, the 21 year old faces charges of Statutory Rape, charges regarding corruption of a minor. And a lifetime on the Sex Offender Registry, limiting the 21 year olds job options, career options, and even where the 21 year old can live (must be so many feet from schools, playgrounds, etc), where the 21 year old can go (oops, can't see a movie when children and minors are in the theater). Forget the concert as children may be present...

Florida is just about the NUMBER ONE state in the country when it comes to bringing down the hammer HARD on those who have sex with minors.
