Fortunately for you, adults get to make up their own minds about what is or is not stupid. Personally, I think its beyond stupid to expect an 18 year-old to have their mind made up about what they're going to do for the rest of their life, and never change it. So.Quote:

The biggest advice Reese is if you are not going into a profession that has a good future job outlook and salary, you are likely wasting your time going to college.

Reese - my biggest regret in life is having let my grandmother control my life for so long. She did not want me to go to college, she wanted me to retire from Lane Bryant like she had. The one time my grandfather helped me with the FAFSA form (I needed their financials), I started World War III. I started it again when I dared take a few classed that I paid for myself. She'd be furious if she was still alive, because horrible me - I went to bartending school.
Seriously young lady - don't make the same mistake I made. Don't let your parents dictate what your major is. To quote Shinedown "Second Chance"

to make them realize this is my life
