How Do I Get My DNA Out of the System
My question involves paternity law for the State of: Pennsylvania
Girl accused me of being her baby's father. She lived in a different county than me. I contacted that county and gave them my info, but they said they had no case filed. I then spoke with the girl who said she got something from my county. I called my county DRS and they said again, they had no case with my info in it. I then received some paperwork and I requested a DNA test to confirm paternity, but got paperwork saying the case was dismissed because the girl no longer had custody of the child. Then received it again, this time from her mother. I finally took the test and was proved NOT to be the father, but then the case was dismissed again before I even got the results back.
My question is....how do I go about getting my DNA out of the system? I know I have no children out there, so I would like my DNA to be removed, since it is mine. I had to do a test by court order apparently, and now that I've been proven NOT to be involved with that child, how do I get my privacy back?
Re: How Do I Get My DNA Out of the System
Your DNA is not in the system. A record of your DNA patterns is in the system and just like any other personal information a court may collect, is not something you can control.
