Class C Misdemeanor Larceny, First Offense
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas

I was charged today with class c misdemeanor for theft. I would like to get it removed from my record as quick as possible and have no idea what to do. First offense on my record whatsoever. Do I plead? I dot really have the money for a fancy attorney and someone said something about deferred Adjudication? What is that and how to I go about getting it?

Basically what is my first step to clean this stupid mess I made.

You need a Criminal Defense Attorney. The attorney can work on getting a First Time offenders program, if your area has one.
