Will a Class C Misdemeanor Conviction Affect Naturalization
    Hi
Would appreciate if anyone can give me correct advise

I was charged with DV and Violation of Protective order, went for trial almost to the end. Till they DISMISSED DV, Found me not guilty on Violation of Protective order (SAYS CLEARLY ON THE COURT COPY AS I "PLEADED NOT GUILTY"...... in Lieu of accepting "No Contest" on Disorderly conduct charges, which resulted in DEFERRED ADJUNCTION 90 DAYS, CLASS C MISDEMEANOR, 500 Fine.

I am due to file my citizenship in 6 months. Will this affect or at the interview reject my naturalization ?

How you pleaded is not important. How you were adjudicated does. My understanding is you plead no contest to disorderly conduct which resulted in your deferred adjudication. Were the charges dismissed after the 90 days (are the 90 days up?).

All of this needs to be disclosed on your N-400. You can bet it will be discussed in your interview to determine if you are indeed of good moral character. It would behoove you to talk to a lawyer before applying.
