Simple Possession of a Controlled Substance
My question involves criminal law for the state of: North Carolina
I know what the charges are etc. I'm curious as to what the ver + numbers mean as well as sff (waived right to counsel?)

Re: Simple Possession of a Controlled Substance
This is a record from the case management system, most likely a daily docket or the like. The first number is just a line number, the printout lists the first case at 1, ... this is the 14th of the series.
The next number "12CR 000345" is the case file number. The 12 is just the last two digits of the year filed.
The next name is the defendant.
The next name is the Complainant BOWMAN,N. SFF indicates that he is with the county sheriff office.
The next is the charge.
PLEA: is blank indicating no plea has yet been entered in the system.
CLS: is the offense class A1, 1, 2, 3 are misdemeanors, A, B1, B2, C, D, E... are felonies.
ATTY: will have a private attorny name or "waived" if one is waived.
APT: preceeds a court appointed attorney.
P: and L: get sentencing point information when such has been computed.
VER: is where the verdict will be entered.
I think the number with the C0442080 is the citation/complaint number.
