Hi, im new here and i like to ask regarding our situation, our first visit in the US was on 2008 only for vacation for 1 month, and then we came back on February 2010 and my brother June 2010, we were given like 6months to stay in the US, (Aug.2010 me ) and ( Dec.2010 my brother ) we we're looking for a job hopefully that can petition us, until months had passed we still have no luck ( until now ) and so we decided to overstay, my visa expired last April 2011 and my brother Dec. 2011 , its been almost 3yrs now overstaying in the US and we decided to leave the US next year jan. 2013, Our passports still valid though mine is until Nov. 2014 and my brother Dec. 2014, My concern is, will there be some fines / problems in the immigration or question us when we leave on that day or maybe prevent us from leaving? thanks!

sorry to bump the thread, hope someone can answer my post. thanks!
Nobody is going to stop you from leaving. That's what you're supposed to have done, quite some time ago.
While nobody will stop you or fine you, you very likely will be barred from re-entry for a period of time that can be up to ten years. So getting a new visa to return will not be easy.
sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the info, its january now and im planning to leave US next month, anyone have an idea some possible questions that might ask us? and also regarding the plane ticket should i get the round trip or one way? will the airline question me knowing that my visa has expired? thanks..
Questions.... If you're flying, a TSA agent will want to make sure your ID matches your boarding pass. Another may ask you to remove your coat or shoes when you go through security. The airline personnel will want your boarding pass when you board the flight....
Again, nobody is going to stop you from leaving. That's what you're supposed to have done, quite some time ago.
thanks for the info mr. knowitall :)
