Can I Get a Second Opinion if I Am Not Happy with My Lawyer on the Case
My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Texas

Can I get a second opinion before deciding on a settlement offer from my lawyer if I am unhappy and feel like I am being taken advantage of? How do I begin? I feel like my lawyer is frankly trying to screw me over.

    Thank you!

I am sure that if you want to provide some information that someone here would be willing to give you an opinion.

Probably not; without access to the entire case file we would have no idea if it's a good offer or not.

You can always consult another lawyer for a "second opinion". How valuable that opinion will be? I make no promises.

I am thinking of a case in which a person decided that a very generous settlement six figure settlement offer was too low, was assured by the "second opinion" lawyer that he could get a lot more money if he switched firms, and with the help of his new lawyer proceeded to recover a whopping $0.
