Moving to Ohio from California As a Minor
I just turned 17 on October 26th, and I've been planning on moving to Ohio in July by myself(I currently reside in California), I've got a few questions on how to do so because it's been nerve racking.

    1. Since most apartments don't allow for minors to sign leases, would my mother/father be able to sign a lease via mail and I would pay the rent?

    2. Do I need to be emancipated in order to move out of state by myself?

    3. Are there any forms needed in order for me to move?

    Thank you in advance!

The answers to all three of your questions are affected by your answer to this one of mine:

Do you have your parents' permission to move out of state in July?

You will need to be emancipated to do anything alone in Ohio. How do you plan on obtaining a job and a place to live?
