    Adjournment of Child Custody Proceedings
My question involves child support in the State of: Michigan

My x is trying to get me to agree to Adjourn of our Court Date that is set for Nov 16 to a later date, I refuse to because he is not been helping financially with supporting our children since he left, and I am unemployed, and unemployment only goes so far to pay the bills, and is placing a major hardship on me. My question is how likely is it that the court will grant him this adjournment, his reason for asking for the adjournment is to go up-north hunting, which I do not feel is a valid reason, but my attorney thinks he will be granted one, because they are normally allowed one.

If your lawyer, familiar with the court and judge, says "This judge is likely to grant the adjournment," then that's as good as an answer as you're going to get until the judge hears the motion.
