Obtaning a Visa After Voluntary Departure
    Hello,

On may 4th of 2011, I departed the USA on a voluntary departure under safeguards. Yet, I was told if I did that IŽd have a three year bar only.

My question is will I be able to apply for a Visitors Visa, when could i do that, only after I complete the three years?, What can I do, what are my options?

I was still 18 when I departed the USA, my Birthay is May 17th and I left may 4th as told by the Judge.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

There is no law against applying for a visitor visa. The likelyhood of it being granted we could not speculate, based on the info given.

You have a three year bar from your overstay of >180 days, < 1 year.

When you seek a visa, be prepared to document strong ties to your home country, such that the visa officer reviewing your application and the immigration officer at the port of entry will believe that you will in fact return home without overstaying your visa.
