Can an Illegal Immigrant Get Status Through a Citizen Parent
I was born in Mexico back in 1979 been in the US since i was like 5 yrs old. My birth cerftificate shows my fathers name (us citizen) and i basically have no contact or knowledge where this "so called" father is. how can i get my immigration status fixed with this situation. Ive been told he has to sign and make it legitamate.
I am a single mother of 3 with no Felonies! I cant get a job :(

The question is if you are a US citizen by birthright. Not enough information to tell here. Were your parents married at the time of your birth?
If you weren't a citizen at the time of your birth, and since you are over 21, you don't have an automatic qualification for a green card. In any event, your father WOULD have to sign. Without that, you're out of luck.

No, they were not married until after my birth.So i have a Last name that cannot live up to its Name? ? Thats Sad!

Unfortunately, it does not appear you qualify, even if you found dad.
