Unsafe Left Turn, Cutting Off Other Vehicles
Tonight I was driving home , I approached a red-light going to turn left and as soon as it turned green ,I disengaged my clutch and I hopped almost into the incoming lane into a cop but braked And turn the wheel straight and stopped . The cop went pass me and The car behind the police car was slowing down so in panic i accelerated out of the intersection making the turn infront of the car slowing down

The cop said I almost hit her and cut off the cars
behind her and could of killed someone

This is my first offense , would I have a good chance on fighting this ticket or getting demerits off my record?

There is good reason why you're asked to include the name of your state. And no, it not for statistical purposes!

You might also want to consider including a description of the code section you were cited for and the code section number if and as it appears on your citation, assuming you were in fact cited fort something.

That said, I'm not feeling a possibility of fully getting out from under this all while it actually resulted in you either hitting several cars or possibly killing someone!

Actually, before I post this I feel I have to ask... Your claim is that you cut off straight through traffic due to your panicking, but prior to that, and as soon as the light changed green, the reason you popped your clutch was... What?

I live in Alberta ,Canada not sure if you can help me with that. The sec # 5 ,sub sec is 34(7?), description I can't read , think its UHR?

The reason why I was on the clutch was because it was going to be green so I lifted to high while giving gas and quickly so it lurched a bit while my wheel was turned
. I stopped seeing that it wasn't my right of way so I stopped and turned my car further away from incoming cop car. There was only one car behind the cop which was braking seeing as I was close into the lane so I decided just to clear.

Note the cop would be looking from her rear view so it might looked to her as I just cut infront . But the person was slowing down so I knew I could go with enough gas.

Okay I figured out what she wrote partially . it's a S.34(2) and I don't know the letters for description .
I don't know if she filled it in wrong because the sec.# is S. . Sub sec #would be 34 meaning Right of way at intersections and the brackets (2) is the points I got.

Regardless of where you live, it appears you were not in control of your vehicle and the officer cited you accordingly.

    Oh, OK....

Well, actually... Considering that there is good reason why you're asked to include the name of your state. (And you already know it not for statistical purposes)! You would have to answer this question first:

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of:

Out of the 50 states and the District of Columbia, which one would you choose?

(Edited to Add "the District of Columbia"... But don't let that influence your decision!)

And see, I do all 49 states and the District Of Columbia, but I leave Washington to the Washington experts... So, you'll have to wait for one of out Washington experts to come around. Enjoy your weekend!
