Can Landlord Take Possession of Property During a Lease
My question involves an eviction in the state of: Ohio

I received a call from the property management company I rent from and was informed the owner of the property is going through a divorce and will no longer legally own the property (I can only assume that his wife/ex-wife will get the property I rent in the divorce). I am in the middle of a lease which ends on 3/31/2013. I have always paid rent on time and have not had any issues while living here for the past 3 years. Can the property management company essentially evict me in the middle of my lease for no real reason? Thank you for any thoughts or advice.

Nope. The new owner must honor your lease.

However, the new owner is under no obligation to renew your lease.

Ok. That was my initial thought. We will see how this plays out. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
