My question involves criminal law for the state of: New York
A guy thought me took his friend's picture, so he gripping my shirt, I worry about my shirt, so I try to take away his hand, then he choking my neck, and I feel very hard to breath, so I bite his hand, but somehow the police still charge me assault...

If you need a translator to be present in court, make sure the court is aware of that as well. -
