F1 Visa Rejection Under INA Sec. 212(A)(3)(i)
Hi:
I am a 4th year Iranian Ph.D. student and after visiting my family this year and applying again to re-enter US, I was refused to receive my visa under section 212(a)(3)i and want to apply again for visa since I am sure this is a misunderstanding of my research. My questions are:
1) Is this a permanent rejection or I can apply again?
2) what can I do to help my case and overcome the refusal this time?
Thank you so much.

You mean INA Sec. 212(a)(3)(A)(i), for terrorist-related activity?
"Any alien who a consular officer or the Attorney General knows, or has reasonable ground to believe, seeks to enter the United States to engage solely, principally, or incidentally in- (i) any activity (I) to violate any law of the United States relating to espionage or sabotage or (II) to violate or evade any law prohibiting the export from the United States of goods, technology, or sensitive information... is inadmissible."

Yes, that's right. I have re-applied again and waiting for the result again...
