Advice on Plea

So yeah... I was arrested and fired for letting a customer walk out with 200 dollars worth of paint from Home Depot. I haven't had any priors and I did write a written statement saying I knew he walked out. Whats the best advice on what I should say? Guilty, not guilty, no contest? Appts on Oct 3rd so any info would be awesome. Thanks.

I would suggest talking to a local criminal defense attorney or requesting a court-appointed lawyer, and trying to figure out if there is a way you can avoid getting a criminal conviction.
