What Should I Expect During Mediation
My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Virginia. My employer failed to protect my mental integrity and confidentiality during my admissions of constant sexual harassment at the hands of one of my superiors for almost a year. They suspended him with pay for 30 days pending the investigation. They brought him back, after giving him a full copy of my initial statement to take home during his suspension, where he then solicited statements from his friends and some of the girls he has sexual relationships with. And all of them walked around and talked about my statement. So with those solicited statements, the company brought him back and then three weeks back after his suspension, he did it again to a girl that was only on the job for 3 weeks.. Which is ironic, so now the company fired him and contacted my attorney to see if I would be interested in mediation. But with all my anxiety, weekly trips to a psychiatrist, after being diagnosed with situational clinical depression, I am more anxious than ever. All of the symptoms, one gets from depression, I have, but at least I am aware there is something wrong with my mental state and I am figuring a way through it in one piece. I am just not sure what to expect with this mediation. I haven't had the final sit down with my lawyer to discuss everything but I am more than anxious and my nerves are off the meter. Should I be concerned or should my anxiety levels be a little less nerve wrecking? Or because of my current mindstate, I should expect this? I don't know. I just want some advice.

you should stick with your lawyer and let your lawyer advise you concerning this. There really isn't anything a forum can do for you.
