Caught Drinking in Violation of Probation
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Washington, My wife has gotten new charges for her 2nd dui and the judge dismissed the last case that she had before the sentencing, He gave her 60 days in jail with 40 good time (she will be released saturday) And 60 days home monitering, Now the thing is we got new information that when she has court on the 27th. The DA is saying that she violated probation with a dirty UA, I was told by multiple people that her first violation for a dirty UA could possibly be 3 days or 30 days or 10 days. I would like to know what might happen as this is her first violation and she hasn't had a bad probationary history.
Re: Caught Drinking in Violation of Probation
Apparently, multiple people familiar with her case and the local probation department have told you that "her first violation for a dirty UA could possibly be 3 [to] 30 days". We have less information about the case than they do, and you've shared no information about what (if anything) your wife is doing to get her alcoholism under control.
