I want to go back to college
I am currently a non-custodial parent and have a support order that I pay. I would like to return to college full-time to get a masters degree. The problem is that I will not be working during this 2 years and won't be able to afford the child support. Can I get it modified or adjusted to reflect the fact that I will not be working during this time?

The likelihood of your support being modified is slim to none since you are voluntarily quitting your job. You have a support obligation that you have to pay.
Maybe you should consider continuing to work full time and going to school part time.
Just a thought.

You have a better (although probably still not a great) chance if you can prove to the court that you and your ex- had agreed that you would be quitting your job to pursue a masters prior to your divorce. Unfortunately, most realistically, the court will observe that your children continue to require financial support, and that you have other options available such as pursuing a degree on a part-time basis which will leave you able to continue to support your children.
