Getting a Good Outcome at an Unemployment Appeal Hearing
My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: CA

    Hey folks,
Just had my appeal hearing this morning. I was initially denied for misconduct. I feel great about the hearing. Turns out my employer lied on some of the documents they submitted and I exposed them easily for that. I had a witness testify and they had none, I sought out free counsel from an attorney and dredged up some affidavits from former employees. The company (HUGE corp) who I thought had an 'airtight' case, did not. I showed in the hearing they had no cause to fire me.

I would encourage anyone to appeal an unfavorable decision. Thanks to this website and the advice I received from some of the senior members.

I will post the official outcome in a couple of days!

Congratulations on impeaching your employer's evidence. That's tough to do, and obviously your employer knows it.
