How can I leave with my child?
Im 14 years old and I live in Arkansas. About 2 months ago I had my son! Everything has been going pretty good, until this last month. My mother has always been very mentally abusive to my brothers and me! Well all 3 of my brothers have already move at. Im the only child left in the house. Any time she gets angry or upset she takes it out on me! Its one thing for her to say it to me, but she even does it in front of my son! I don't want him to be around my abusive mother. Im afraid by the time he gets ahold enough to understand it will rub off onto him. And the she could come mentally abusive towards him as well! Its not that I just want to leave, I want to protect my kid and raise him in a happy and safe enviroment!! How can I find away to leave under the sircumstances.
Re: How can I leave with my child?
You can report the abuse to the childrens protective services, and they may put you and the baby in foster care. If you are put in foster care, there is no guarantee you will stay with your child at 14. I think the only reason the state has not taken the child so far is because you are living with your mom. I am so sorry I can not offer any more advise. There is no emancipation offered in your state.

Theres nothing I can do about mental abuse in the house! Only if it is physical can they do anything. No one knows about any abuse in the house, so there is no reason to take my child from the house! But thanks very much for the help!

I would speak to your counselor at school, she/he may be able to offer some advise and guide you with suggestions. Just so you know, mental abuse can also be against the law, if it is extreme, I recall some commercials years back that spoke of mental abuse, and it said "This is also child abuse".
