If a Work of Fiction Insults a Business Can it Sue
in a book it says vampires work in the blood bank in ely nevada and las vegas, and now the blood bank is empty.
there's no disclaimer saying any likelihood between events and places to reality is coincidental. the disclaimer is missing.
can the blood bank sue?
also, in another book, burger king is mentioned in a fictional town, where a nasty customer says to the cashier she's tired of them filling up the sandwiches with grass (meaning lettuce). and the book mentions the floor of the restaurant is dirty after rush hour. again, no disclaimer.
can burger king sue?
