    Found Not Guilty of Burglary and Theft - What Should I Do
    My question involves criminal law for the state of: Maryland

    My ex sister in law accused me of stealing her $8,000 wedding ring and said I went into her house when I took her daughter there so that's burglary and trespassing came from. I got locked up and had a $7,500 bail. I was just found not guilty and people are telling me to sue but what should I sue for

    If the village idiot tells you "You should sue somebody", generally that suggestion is going to be worth a bit less than you paid for it.

    You have yet to describe facts that would support a cause of action against anybody. The police investigated and found sufficient evidence to pass to a prosecutor, a prosecutor found probable cause to charge you, a judge found probable cause to allow the case to proceed to trial....
