Someone should report you for being a jerk.

They would have to have some intelligence... That, I guess rules you out as a candidate!

The defendant essentially pleads guilty to 57. How is that not having time to prepare a defense for that or to bring an attorney?

The mere suggestion that anyone would plead guilty to 57 when they initially had pleaded not guilty to 50 in 25 is dripping with ineptitude, but I couldn't put anything past you.

But lets review for a second.... first you suggested that the judge will change the charge to 57 and immediately find the defendant guilty of 57:

If you plead not guilty and then go into court and waste the court's, the officer's, and the judge's time with that, and then state you were actually going 57, the judge will find you guilty of going 57. Between your admission of guilt at 57, and the officer's testimony of 57, the judge will simply increase your fine and you'll be hung for 57.

    Guaranteed.

I even suggested that I'd bet you are wrong in suggesting that the judge can change the charge and immediately find the defendant guilty without allowing him the benefits you'd get with a new charge and you confirmed how wrong you are by saying:

    You'd lose that bet.

And yet now, you come back with the following:

    ...<Drivel>...and reschedules arraignment for 57. The judge isn't charging anyone...<more drivel>....

So you're confirming that the judge cannot change the charge and even if he makes such egregious error he cannot simply find the defendant guilty he has to allow him the benefits of a new charge... i.e. an arraignment and a continuance!

Clearly, you made a ass of yourself by proving what an imbecile you are for arguing about thing you have no clue about! Probably the reason why you've been hiding out in shame the past few days. Keep it up.... The staying away part!

I don't know what's wrong with you. I have no idea. I'm not a psychiatrist.

I just very thankful that I'm not like you, whatever it is.

Seems there is a lot you don't know. Including basic legal matters and court procedures... So I'm not sure what you're doing around here! Your half witted remarks leave a lot to be desired as well, so you should refrain.

Seriously, you're the last one to point fingers about what's wrong with whom.

    I just very thankful...???

You should also be very thankful for the lesson I taught you in this thread. On second thought, spare me... I'll log it in my charity column!

It seems as if the rest of us can have a discussion and disagreements, but not turn into azzholes as in this
    thread: LINK

On the other hand, you have a habit of just chewing people out and insulting them, and it's not just me. You simply don't know how to talk to people.

Again, I don't know what's wrong with you. I'm just happy I'm not like you.

You're wrong about a judge's discretion to declare a ticket in error if the defendant and citing officer are in front of him telling him it's in error. You're wrong about the judge being able to declare it in error and to waive the error. Judges waive errors on tickets on a regular basis, using their discretion.

You just don't know how to be wrong. Something's wrong with you.
