Out of State Visitations for a 2 Year Old
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Illinois
I currently stay in Seattle and I have a 2 yr old daughter who lives in Chicago with her mom.
I have already been granted overnight weekend visitations in Chicago, but I would like to obtain out of state visitation rights so that my child could also come to Seattle. Maybe once a month or once every two months, but will stay with me for at least a week. The idea is that I will fly to Chicago to pick her up and her mom will fly to Seattle the following weekend to take her back. I would like to know if that is even realistic before asking the court. How old should the child be before out of state visitations become possible?
Re: Out of State Visitations for a 2 Year Old
That is not really a reasonable schedule for a 2 year old.
But before we go further, how often do you see her right now? How often in the past year?
Who created the distance?
