Child Support Arrearages in Iowa

My question involves child support in the State of: Washington/Iowa

My question is that my boyfriend pays childsupport. He has 3 jobs and it is takin right out of his checks. he he still behind for one of his children that lives in Washington, he lives in Ia. He recieved a letter yesterday telling him a warrent has been issued for his arrest for the 5000 he owes in back support to this one child. He has 8 total and pays support on all of them. He works hard and alot but it never seems to be enough for the moms.

What can he do now besides turn himself in, and then none of the children will get support

He has 8 kids?

Honey, run. Far. Far, far from this man. Because he is NOT going to support you or your kids if/when you get pregnant.

In the meantime, he needs to pay his child support. Or turn himself in. I'm not sure what else you want us to tell you. Has he even TRIED to negotiate a repayment?
