Emancipation at Age 16 in Arizona
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Arizona
I am 16 years old, 17 in September with a 6 month old daughter. I live in my grandmother's home (she pays all costs) but my mother lives here also (does not help pay rent, no job, not looking for a job, keeps applying for extended unemployment while not actively looking for a job, NO expenses). I am currently on WIC to be able to afford formula. I do have a job working for a company that sells items on Amazon, I am not given a pay stub, no taxes are taken from me. I am making close to $1500 a month through them, but it is direct deposit. My mother is mentally unstable. She tends to take her anger out on my brother and I. She is constantly picking a fight with my grandmother. I 100% support my daughter, other then a house because my mother refuses to let me move out or have control over my own life. She will not let me off of her insurance to get my own. I do have money saved up for unknown expenses. My grandmother has agreed to let me stay in her house until I find my own place, which I am currently already looking for. I am looking into the process of emancipation & looking into the right attorney. What are my chances of the judge granting me? I am in school full time, on an online highschool so I watch my daughter during the day.
