How Do I Get a Legal Right to See My Child
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Georgia.

I live in Georgia and my daughter lives in Virginia. I have a child support case that's not in arrears. The custodial parent will not let me speak or visit. My child is almost 17 or 18 years of age. I would like to speak with my daughter because I haven't seen her since she was 7 years old. The mother is very bitter because our relationship didn't work out years ago.

What do I need to do in order to carry out getting phone call or visitation rights. Paternity was established voluntarily before my daughters birth.

Why in the world did you wait TEN YEARS before trying to get visitation?! And she is 17 OR 18, how do you not know how old your child is?

If she is almost 18 or is already 18 there is probably no point in taking this to court now. As soon as she is 18 years old she gets to choose who she talks to or sees. You should have tried to be in her life long before now.

How was paternity established prior to birth?
