Non-U.S. Citizen with Fraud Charges Returning to Canada
My question involves criminal law for the state of: PA.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I am currently being investigated for fraud (medicaid) that happened in 2009. I left fo Canada in Sept 2009 before the investigations began. I am a landed immigrant in Canada and travel outside Canada by air frequently. If an arrest warrant is issued in the US is it possible that i may be arrested at any Canadian Airport?

Any advice will be highly appreciated.

You can inquire with a Canadian legal resource or Canadian lawyer if, based upon your alleged crime, you are likely to be the subject of an international extradition effort. Canada has different immigration and extradition laws than the U.S.

Canada, from my understanding will honor extradition except in death penalty cases. Looking forward to reading about your case.
