Kohl's Ban
My question involves criminal records for the state of: NJ I was recently arrested in Kols's department store with $117 worth of merchandise. The LP said I can't come back there, but I'm not sure if he meant that exact store or ALL of them? I never got any copies of anything I signed from that day so I don't have anything to read. He took my picture and I'm guessing they would hang it up so the employees could see it? If that's the case then wouldn't there be a whole wall of people?

Re: Kohl's Ban
I'd stay out of any Kohls.

Re: Kohl's Ban
And yes, some places do have "a whole wall of people".

Re: Kohl's Ban
Stay out of ALL Kohl's stores, nationwide. A lot of stores have Facial Recognition software. So yes, you could be recognized at a Kohl's in California.
I will say this: Wait 6 months, write a letter to Corporate, attn Loss Prevention....ask permission. I got a letter back within 2 weeks with the ban lifted :)

Re: Kohl's Ban
Holy Crap! That's crazy stuff! I'll see my lawyer when I go to court and mention writing the letter to him.

Re: Kohl's Ban
Wait 6 months. And you don't need a lawyer to type up a quick letter that says "6 months ago, I was caught shoplifting at Kohl's in (location). I very much regret my actions. I would like to ask permission to shop in your stores again. I have learned a hard lesson to not steal and won't do so again. Sincerely, (name).
During that 6 months, you can still shop online.
