Who Can Make Objections at Administrative Hearings
I have a hearing coming up. 2 other parties ("defendants" is you will/I am "plaintiff").
Q is: if lawyer 1 calls his witness and during my cross of lawyer's 1 witness, lawyer 2 has an objection ~ can he voice his objection, as the witness is not his?
Re: Who Can Make Objections at Administrative Hearings
Rules of evidence and procedure can vary significantly for administrative hearings. You will need to research the conduct of the one at issue.
Normally, consistent with the governing evidentiary and procedural rules, any party can make an objection. I expect that will be the case in your hearing. Different parties have different interests.
