Rights After Completion of Parole in Texas

I have recently finished my time on parole in Texas and I'm confused about my rights as a citizen.
For instance, I am unsure if I can go hunting or fishing or the like. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to buy a firearm.
I really just would like to know what I can do! I don't really feel free until I know this information. PLEASE HELP!

    thanx

Your (former) parole officer should be able to clarify your rights, based upon your specific charge. If you were on parole, we can assume this was a felony conviction. It appears that Texas lets you vote once you finish probation, but you probably would have to get a "restoration of rights" granted by the Parole Board in order to own or possess a firearm.
