Landlord No Longer Owns Property Due to Eviction Sending Messages That He Wil Evict
My question involves an eviction in the state of: Texas
My landlord of over 4 years recently lost house to foreclosure procedings in Texas and since that time I received a letter from the bank stating that they are the new landlord due to foreclosure but he keeps sending me texts that if I do not pay him rent he will file eviction. I also have a cerified copy of the deed transfer from our county which shows the it was filed with the county on April 30, 2012. Is this considered extoration and can I file a case against him since he no longer owns the property?

No, it's considered stupidity and you can safely ignore him.
He can threaten to evict you all he wants, but he doesn't have standing to file. Block his number and move on.
