Can a Minor Petition for Termination of a Parent's Rights
My question involves guardianship in the State of: Wisconsin.
I'm a fifteen year old female, turning sixteen in June, and my parents are going through a divorce currently. I have always detested my father because he is verbally abusive, violent (though not towards any living being so it won't help my case at all), and a 'recovering' alcoholic. He is an unfit parent, and I am wondering if I have any rights in the matter of petitioning for my mother to get full custody of me?

Custody will be decided in court. You may be able to state your preference to the judge, but you are not a party to the case. There is nothing for you to file. This is between Mom and Dad.
