    Is a Letter Required for Official Notice
    My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Virgina

    I wanted to know if I give a verbal notice with a letter to follow can the verbal be take as an official letter prior to the letter being received. The company head quarters is located in CA. Could you also provide the law that states this answer to this question.

    The verbal resignation can absolutely be taken as official, with or without a letter. And it's not because there is a law that says it can, it's because there isn't a law that says it can't.
