First Time Possession of Marijuana

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan

I was riding in someone else's car when we got pulled over, the driver allowed the cops to search the vehicle and he found probably .3 grams that i had hidden in the back seat. I admitted to the cop that it was mine and got a possession charge. this is my first offense and i'm not sure what to expect. so i have some questions

Should I plead guilty, not guilty or no contest?

Can i ask for 7411 without having a lawyer?

Will i be expected to pay any fines in full or will they allow me to do some sort of payment plan? (im a broke college student and cant afford to pay it all at once)

If you plead guilty you will be convicted. You've given us no reason to believe that the court would accept a no contest plea from you - that would, however, be treated exactly like a guilty plea.

You can ask for 7411 without a lawyer. Which doesn't of itself mean that it's a good idea to proceed without a lawyer.

If you get probation, you can pay your fines, court costs and other assessments over the term of your probation.
