Shoplifting case in Toronto, Canada

Hi Guys,

I came to Toronto on Visitor's Visa to do some office work. Here I would like to tell you is, few days back I went shopping Mall with My friends, one of them made a bet with me to steel any item from the store with out paying the amount. I decided to take the item and go out. The Item is valet, which is cost around $19 CAD.

Then suddenly store people approached me and asked me take out the valet which I took from the shop. Then they took me inside the stores one of the closed room and asked all my details. I told all the details mine ( Truth). Then said whatever the circumstances, I have been arrested under shoplifting case under $5,000.00.
Then they called police. He put the locks to my hands and then took me out, inside his car then he asked me
Details of mine and then he gave serious warning not to repeat any more this kind of things and released me
UN-Conditionally, because this is the first time I did and I don't have any criminal records until that day
Either in my country or Canada.

Here I will tell you my background, I'm software engineer and I showed all my proofs saying I’m innocent guy
And he showed him my Identity card of my office. So then they took the details of my name and DOB that’s it.
Because my ID shows only those things.
Then requested them not to inform any of relatives and my employer. They said ok and they didn't inform
Anybody until today.

Here the shopping Mall persons given I letter saying not to enter in that shop for one year.

That’s ok and fine, but I asked the police man saying in case if I apply for a job here, will those people
Will know about this, he said they will know that you have arrested.

By reading all these articles about this incident. I have got some questions to clarify, I don't have money
To consult a Lawyer, that’s y seeking for any help regarding my doubts.

1) I'm 28 year older, so my case comes under adult
2) I heard records will be Distorted after some period, my case How log they keep the records and Destroy.
3) I'm going back to my country on October 30th 2006, and may require coming back soon, that time I need to
Apply again for visitor Visa, In Visa application their is column asking about you any time arrested or
Convicted. What should I say there, is that necessary to say yes or no.
4) Will they have access to my records who is sitting my country?
5) In case if I get through the Visa, then in Airport Immigration office will he creates any problems.
6) Even I have H1-US visa, will they know about this incident, if I don't tell, will they have access to these
Records.

Please I kindly request you to help to clarify for my questions, with this all doubts I'm unable to
Concentrate in office work.

But he noted down in his system, My Name, DOB

Here I'm Visistor and going back to my country and i may require to come back, So I have few Doubts please clarify if anybody knows
