Neighbor Followed Me in Car
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida
I live in a gated community and few weeks back, one of my neighbors flew through the community, cutting off my wife and I with our children in the car, nearly causing an accident. The other day I saw her pulling into her driveway and stopped in front of her house (not blocking her in at all), and simply asked her to please slow down, that she almost caused a serious accident. Her response was "almost doesn't count". I was flabbergasted and told her to just slow it down and that I'd take down her tag and send it to our hoa property manager. When I got back into my car, she pulled out of her driveway and followed me throughout our entire community. I proceeded to leave the community to get on a main road, which she followed me also. I drove into a Publix shopping center, knowing there are camera's in the shopping center, and she followed me in there and parked right next to me. I then called 911 and had a deputy come out, since I figured she was crazy and had no idea what she was going to do. Had the deputy speak to her and I left home, figuring that was the end of it.
My question is, should I leave it be, or should I file any sort of legal report, etc.? Also, is there anything she can do in terms of pressing charges for me asking her to slow down? After her following me almost a mile, I'm not sure she's playing with a full deck.
Thanks

You already had a deputy come out and speak with her. That should be sufficient. If the behavior continues, sure, speak with the police again, but for now, leave it be.

It's not illegal to ask someone to stop driving like a maniac.
