Underage Drinking and Open Container Summons
I was walking on the street with a beer in my hand and a cop stops me and my friend who was doing the same.
I gave him my ID (I'm 17, i know stupid) but my friend didn't so we had to go to the precint.
He wrote us up 2 summons- one for underage drinking and another for open container
the court dates in two months, but theres no fine amount on the summon...
the cops were really nice and they told me I just have to come into court, saying i didn't even need to bring my parents (they didn't even call them)
    i'm turning 18 in a week.
so, how does this process work?
do i have to bring a guardian?
how much $$ do i have to bring?
and does this go on a criminal record?
and it's st.patricks day so i'm thinking a lot more people got caught like me...
i'm clean too, nothing on my record

You're presumably charged in adult court, so you face adult consequences for your criminal activities. For an overview of how criminal prosecutions work, start here.

I suggest trying to talk to a prosecutor about your case to see if you can get an ACD.
