How Can I Get My Son Back from Overseas

My husband kiddenaped my son to his motherland Tunisia without letting me know. My son is 3 years old i have a protective order against my husband granted for one year which include costudy for myself with him having visitations infront of the police station. We were already seperated for more than one year and we had a final trial for divorce, child support and alimony and costudy . All this was scheduled for the 4th of April. My son's passport ia always with me. My son is a United State citizen as well as his father. But i am not i am just a resident. i got to make sure my husband has my son with him overseas . He cleared out his business and i found out later that his house was put for closure for 7 months. I dont know how can he take a USA citizen outside the united states and make a mother suffer without having anything done against him. He has a bad record in the US .and what can be done so i can get my son back. I know he is not safe and secure in such a coutry Tunisia. I am not tunisian either i am Moroccan. If any one knows anything that would help me get my son back please let me know because i cannot live without him no more.

Are you absolutely sure your husband has left the country with your child?

Did he obtain a Tunisian passport for your son?

In all honesty Mom, you need an attorney.

Yes i am sure he did left the country and the only trick is that he got him a tunisian passport. I do have an attorney as well but my question is by the law am i gonna be able to get my son back or not?

You need to rely on your attorney. Tunisia is not a party to the Hague Convention so it is going to be difficult.

How long ago did he take your son there?

Nobody here can answer that.

But as PQN said, it might be very difficult.
