Feel Endangered by My Roommate's Boyfriend

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Michigan

My roommate is dating a man who makes me feel unsafe. He has been self-harming and threatening in or around our home multiple times. My roommate agreed to keep him out of the house after they broke up, but now they are back together. She says she is looking for a new place to live, but meanwhile has been sneaking him in here at night. I feel unsafe in my own home. What are my options to protect myself? We are on a joint lease. Do I have to wait until I am hurt by him to do something about it?
