But your having reached consenting age does not make the fact that he had sex with you BEFORE you were of consenting age go away. Your 17th birthday is not a magic do-over. The illegal does not somehow become legal. It was STILL illegal for him to have sex with you when you were 16. No matter what.
Whether he WILL be charged with a crime, no one here can say. The crystal ball is in the shop. But make no mistake, he CAN.
