    Change of Status Without ID
Hello , need some advice on how to proceed with getting my wife's staus fixed. She came over in 1991 on vistors visa from germany. We married within 90days applied for residency, recieved contional residency, for two years and we never have gotten the status changed. Somebody had stolen her wallet many years ago and lost SSN card and A card. Now she has no ID cops have taken her expired DL, passport is expired so pretty much no form of ID at all. What do we need to do to get this straighten out? Can we do it ourselves or need to get a lawyer?

There is a process to replace a lost/stolen permanant resident card...link below.

However, you have some serious circumstances that may make that mute. If the conditional was for two years and expired, then she probably is considered to have abandoned the LPR status. It is quite possible you might have to go through the process again from the beginning. With no valid form of government ID, this is going to be difficult.

I would Highly recommend a lawyer to help because she has no status and no valid form of ID.. I would also suggest she contact her home country embassy/consulate here in the US to see how she can get a valid passport

Moot not mute, but mmadsen is right...if she never got the conditional restrictions removed, the original conditional green card is expired.
