    B2 Visa Application Withdrawal
I am a Bahamian citizen and I recently applied for a tourist visa at the American Embassy in Nassau,Bahamas. I was asked to bring additional documents but I was unable to obtain some of the documents (medical records from another country) is it possible for me to withdraw my visa application and apply at a later time when I have obtained the required documents? Also my country has a visa waiver program (all I would need is police certificate stating that I have no criminal record )will withdrawing my application affect me if I tried to enter under the waiver program especially since I was given a form stating that I needed a valid police certificate( because the one I had expired) and visa by the CBC agent the last time I tried to enter the United States a year ago. Would it be wise for me to try with a valid police certificate this time

You can write a letter to the embassy, with your name, date of birth and passport number, indicating that you want to withdraw your petition for the visa.

Is there a reason you're applying for a B2 visa when you're eligible for the visa waiver program?

I tried to enter the United States and my police certificate was expired and that's a requirement to travel under the waiver program. So I had to withdraw my application for admission .I was given a form and it stated that I needed a valid police certificate and visa . So I don't know if that means that I am still eligible to travel under the visa waiver program or not .
