Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substances, Meth and Suboxone
My question involves criminal law for the state of: texas (west Texas )

My girlfriend got caught up in the drug life last summer ...needless to say she tried to take my advice and go to rehabilitation but before she could she got pulled over for expired license plates and got caught with 3 baggies of meth with .5 in each baggy, but that is how she bought them from the dealer. And she also had 5 suboxones since she is a heroin addict -.-

and one of her "needle buddies" through his cocaine on the floor board which they gave her the charge of since it was her vehicle

So shes 23 never been in trouble, she was a model and she was attending college.... so now she is sitting in county jail with these charges

Poss of controlled substance with intent to deliver (F1) 100,000 bond
Poss of meth with intent to deliver (F2) 50,000 bond
Poss cs pg1 (SJF) 15,000 bond

A little extreme for 1.5 grams of meth and 5 suboxones that she needed for when she is sick....she was selling a little bit to her friends but she never moved more than a few grams at a time just to support her habit.....i tried telling her what she was doing is serious but the drugs affect her decision making abilities. Her mom hired a respected lawyer, he said shes looking at probation but im honestly scared that they will make an example of her and send her to prison...any input appreciated

Your girlfriend's lawyer is the person most familiar with the facts of the case, your girlfriend's records, and the policies of the local judge and prosecutor, so he's the person best situated to predict what might happen in court.
