Violation of Privacy
My question involves civil rights in the State of: Washington/Montana
It has been brought to my attention that I was video recorded during sexual acts. The acts were consensual but I was not informed of the taping. I am of course distraught over the fact that there is a possibility of a tape of me taken 100% without my knowledge or consent. What legal/criminal actions can I take against the person who recorded this? And realisticly what can I expect to happen if I do take legal action against this person? Apparently the man had a camera rolling in his closet, and that is as much as I know at this point and I have yet to see the tape for myself. The incidence occurred in Montana but I am now living in Washington. The tape would have been recorded approximately 8 months ago.

Re: Violation of Privacy
If you believe a crime was committed, you can report the offense to the police in the jurisdiction where this occurred.
If you believe you can prove damages, or are willing to pay the cost of litigation and want an injunction, you can consult a lawyer about bringing a lawsuit against the person who took the video.
