    Possession of Paraphernalia
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Drug Possession.

I am 16 years old and live in Missouri. I was recently stopped and arrested for juvenile possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. I was not given any tickets but was told that a Deputy Juvenile Officer would be contacting me and that I would receive some papers in the mail. At this point my parents do not know and I am trying to keep it that way. I was curious as to what exactly will be sent to my house, what I will be called about and how I can remove this from my record without alerting my parents. Thanks for the replies.

If they decide to charge you (which is likely) your parents will know as one must accompany you to court.

There won't be any hiding this. It will come most likely addressed to "The parent/guardian of daniel00" and will be from the local juvenile court. Given that drugs are involved, it is possible that you will be required to do some kind of pre-court assessment/screening which will, since you area minor, require the presence of a parent. As will court as ron already indicated. Furthermore it is entirely possible an officer may visit your home to make the notification.
