Emancipation of a 16 Year Old in Kentucky
I'll try to summarize this as neatly as possible.
I am a sixteen year old girl living in central Kentucky and am looking to be emancipated. I am a junior in high school, though I was placed on HomeBound schooling for about the past three months for mental health reasons revolving around anxiety and severe depression. During the month of December, I was primarily living at a friend's house, although I was supported by the friend's family financially, I searched extensively for a job, scheduled/got myself to my own therapy and other appointments, kept up-to-date on my school work, had regular and healthy communication with my mother and other family members, got in shape and became healthier and happier, etc. I became a happy and responsible young adult. I had the drive to tackle any issue and overcome any obstacle. I reluctantly moved back to my mother's about two weeks ago, and things have been swiftly plummeting downhill.
I've delved back into depression (I've been clinically diagnosed with Psychosis NOS, PTSD, and AvPD), before seeking treatment about a year ago, I struggled with self-harm and frequently consider it now, I do contemplate suicide occasionally, I have no energy for anything, even the things I used to enjoy most, I've become a recluse, etc. Life has become overwhelmingly difficult for me, which is affecting not only me, but my friends and family as well. I have no drive, no will to see the next day. My mother isn't outright doing anything wrong other than not realizing what her wishes to keep me "home" 24/7 is doing to me and playing favorites with her children. (Often seeming to favor my older brother over me). I have been told by people whom I trust that it seems as though I'm treated like a dog by my family.
I've done some prior research and according to the majority of sources, there are no emancipation laws in KY. I was simply wondering if anyone had any information more in depth that "there are no emancipation laws", or has ideas for alternatives.

This indicates you need more supervision not less. You do not even come close to having a chance at emancipation. Most teens your age feel the same way and claim the same things.

"There are no emancipation laws" means that you cannot be emancipated. It really is that simple.
The fact that you have been diagnosed with mental health issues means that you would not qualify to be emancipated even if there were.
