    Accused of Online Harassment
I made a post on topix.com earlier, and it was a tongue-in-cheek point I was trying to make about a different post about double standards with others who get DWI's. I was frustrated. I know it wasn't polite, and that it probably irritated some, but I made no threats, I did not mention any names but for a link to a article on a publicly available news website. The following is a reply to my post. (My post is quoted first)

    My post: Feel sorry wrote:
This poor unfortunate man! He must have demons he is struggling with, and needs help. He is only human, we all make mistakes. Poor, poor unfortunate fellow! I'm sure our community will be more than willing to help him."

The reply: "And what would we find in your dirt filled closet? Want us to take a look? It isn't that hard. Keep pushing. One or two more posts will do. And We can show the world what you are all about."

This poster's stated location is 6 hrs away yet they attempt to make me think they know me. How do I go about going on the record to protect myself? I am an outspoken critic of our foreign policy and government corruption with nonviolent Libertarian views. I have made political waves by stating my opinion. It could be paranoia, but if so it doesn't mean I am wrong. With some new laws many have said that dissent is no longer tolerated. Is there an email I can safely send info about me to have on record?

    Thank you!

You did not wear your tin foil hat when posting and now the government has tracked you, via your post and identified you, through their satellite.

If you think anything you post on the internet has not gone through a filter, looking for search strings and that they have not already identified you and built a dossier, if they feel you pose a threat, you are deluding yourself. Our government spends billions tracking and building profiles on people. When you are stopped by the police, the reason they ask for identification from everyone in the car is because the info is forwarded to the FBI. They have an office by Fairmont, WV, where employees spend their entire careers, inputting these name associations into computers, for tracking purposes.

    You could always stop posting.
